چکیده
The assessment of extreme wind loading on solar arrays plays a significant role in ensuring their safe operation under strong winds. Therefore, this paper investigates the mounted flat roof by taking into account directionality effect. estimation process is conducted using situ speeds obtained from meteorological stations and coefficients tunnel tests based joint probability distribution multiple variables conditional probabilities. This allows discussion regarding how would be affected such factors as uncertainty coefficient, structural orientation buildings which are mounted, directional characteristics speeds. Finally, comparison among proposed methods, considering current codes, performed. determined multivariate value theory found to comparable corresponding estimate calculated according independent assumption speed. results study provide valuable reference for design wind-resistant that takes

Area-averaged Characteristics of Wind Loads on Roof-mounted Solar Arrays
With the increasing use of solar photovoltaics, wind-induced loads on rooftop solar arrays have become a problem. A series of wind tunnel experiments have been performed to evaluate wind loads on solar panels on flat roofs, mainly focusing on their area-averaged characteristics such as mean and negative peak force coefficients, and peak factors. Solar array models were fabricated with pressure ...
متن کاملHead Mounted Wind
Within the context of tele-presence and immersion for piloting light aircraft, knowledge about the surrounding wind offers useful information for piloting purposes. Rendering wind in virtual simulation or telepresence application has been used still the early sixties [1] to enhance immersion. However since then it has been rather limited to use a fan in front of the user to produce an illusion ...
